We don't take a cut of your bookings or charge per-transaction fees on top of Stripe. What you charge your customer is what you get (minus Stripe's standard processing).

Questions you probably have

Do I need to be technical?+
No. If you can describe what your business does in plain English, you can use Locavo. There's no code to write, no settings to configure, and no concepts you need to learn.
Do I own my site?+
Yes. The site lives on a domain you control, and the underlying code is yours. If you ever leave Locavo, we can hand over the codebase so you can host it elsewhere.
How does payment work for bookings?+
We use Stripe Connect, which means money flows directly to your bank account — Locavo never holds customer funds. You'll do a quick verification step in chat (the same one Stripe asks any business for) and you're set up.
What if the AI gets something wrong?+
Tell it. "That photo is too small," "change the headline to X," "the schedule should show Tuesdays." The AI edits and re-deploys. If something breaks, we automatically catch it before you see it and have the agent try again.
Can I have multiple providers / staff?+
Not yet. The first release is built for solo and single-provider businesses. Multi-provider sites (the Studio tier) come after v1.
Is my customer data safe?+
Customer data lives in a Postgres database isolated to your site, hosted on Neon's secure infrastructure. We don't claim HIPAA compliance, so don't store protected health information — for non-PHI booking data, the security baseline is solid.
What happens if Locavo shuts down?+
Worst-case scenario: we hand over your site's code and a database export. You can host the site yourself on Vercel (or anywhere else that runs Next.js) without us. The whole stack is built on standard, portable pieces — nothing locks you in.
